"A Well-Dressed Tarantula" is the tenth episode and the mid-season premiere of the first season of The CW's Dynasty. It aired on January 17, 2018.

Synopsis[]

THE MIDAS TOUCH - Cristal's efforts to mend her fractured marriage are complicated when a dangerous newcomer threatens to destroy everything she and Blake hold dear. Meanwhile, Fallon celebrates her golden birthday and gains control of her trust, forcing her to think about more than just what size champagne bottles to serve at her party.

Plot Summary[]

SPOILERS AHEAD

Cristal is a pariah at the mansion. Alejandro reveals himself to her, threatening to expose Blake's father's past crimes if she does not help him close a deal with Carrington Atlantic. A guilty Steven pawns an expensive watch and gives the money to the wife of the man who died because of his mistake. Fallon throws herself a 25th birthday party as she gains control of her $100 million trust fund, and overcomes her reluctance to fully commit herself and her money to Jeff. Meanwhile, Jeff tells his father he plans to marry Fallon to secure her assets for himself, including her shares of Blake's company. Cristal, Blake, Fallon, and Sam work together to turn the tables on Alejandro and Iris. After getting into her new car, Fallon is chloroformed by Iris.[2]

  • This the first episode title which is not a reference to a line from the original Dynasty series.
  • To date, this and Enter Alexis episodes are the only Season 1 episode whose name is not based in a line from the 1981 Dynasty. However, the latter is based on the same episode title name from the 1981 TV Series that Alexis made her appearance.
